Ken Owens, Jr.

Ken's journey from a young observer to an expert in his field is a testament to his passion and dedication. Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, he has called Arizona home for over 20 years. As a youth, he would frequently visit Chicago, IL. and marvel at the construction of the city's towering skyscrapers. This interest led him to pursue a degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills and knowledge in architecture, construction management, building sciences for residential and multifamily communities, and residential weatherization practices and administration. His introduction to energy efficiency came early in his career, leading to his work on program planning and field implementation with various state and electrical utility efficiency programs in Wisconsin and Arizona.

Outside of his professional life, Ken is a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a connoisseur of Hip- Hop, Jazz, R & B, and Classic Rock, and most importantly, a family man. His wife and three children are his true passion, providing him with the focus, grounding, and the honesty he brings to his work.
