Due to the current federal Executive Orders, memorandums from the White House Office of Management and Budget, and communications from the U.S. Department of Energy, funding for all Efficiency Arizona programs is currently unavailable. This means that Arizona does not have access to the federal funding necessary to continue Efficiency Arizona, including HEAR and HOMES, and the program is paused until federal funding is made available.

Arizona and several other impacted states sued the federal government to restart payments to states and their agencies as already agreed upon in contracts, loans, and grants. The case was filed in Rhode Island on January 28 and updates can be found here. (New York v. Trump, 1:25-cv-00039). The Hobbs Administration is committed to protecting Arizonans, and ensuring they have access to the funding intended to lower their energy bills and increase their home comfort. The Governor’s Office of Resiliency will provide updates as they are available.
